Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the app Hindu Calendar: Divya Panchang (package com.sky.techno.hinducalendar, “the app”) uses, and why. The app is published by Sky Techno Biz (“we”, “us”).
1. The short version
- All calculations (Panchang, festivals, Muhurat, Kundli, Kundli Milan) happen on your phone.
- Your birth details, names and locations stay on your phone. We do not have servers that receive them, and we never send them to analytics, crash reporting or advertising services.
- The app has no account or sign-in.
- The app shows ads and uses Google services for anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, as described below.
2. Information kept only on your device

This information is stored in the app's private storage. If you have Android backup turned on, Android may include it in your own Google account backup. You can export it (Settings → Export my data) or delete all of it (Settings → Delete all my data) at any time. Uninstalling the app also deletes it.
3. Location
If you tap “Use current location”, the app asks for approximate (coarse) location once, in the foreground, to find the nearest city. The location is used on the phone only and is not sent to us or to any service. You can always pick a city by name instead.
4. Information collected by third-party services

5. What we do not do
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not upload your Kundli profiles, birth details, names, locations or reminders.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera.
6. Notifications
Reminders for festivals, vrats, Muhurat and your own tithis are scheduled on the phone. You can turn each kind off in Settings → Notifications or in Android settings.
7. Children
The app is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
8. Security and retention
Information on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Information collected by the Google services above is kept according to Google's retention settings; analytics data is kept for the shortest period the service allows us to choose.
9. Your rights
You can view, export and delete the information the app keeps (Settings → Your data). You can withdraw consent for personalised ads (Settings → Privacy options, where available), reset your Advertising ID in Android settings, and turn off anonymous usage data. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and similar laws, you may contact us with any request or complaint about your data.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
